TERMS & CONDITIONS (Clients & Bookings)

1.1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Allure Makeup Studio (Allure), whether delivered at our salon, at a client’s location, at a venue (weddings, events, shoots, film) or remotely. By booking or using our services you agree to these Terms.

1.2. Services Covered

We provide salon services (hair, makeup, skin, nails), memberships, product retail and on-location/outdoor services (weddings, engagement/reception services, shoots, corporate events, films). Services may be delivered by our staff or vetted freelance partners engaged by us.

1.3. Booking, Confirmation & Deposits

  1. All bookings must be made via our website, phone/WhatsApp, in person or via an authorised booking partner.
  2. Deposit: To confirm studio or on-location bookings, a deposit is required:
    • Studio high-value/time intensive services (e.g., hair colour, keratin, bridal trial): minimum 25% of the service value.
    • On-location bookings (weddings, events, film): minimum 50% deposit to secure the date.
       Deposits must be received within the timeframe specified in the booking confirmation. Bookings remain tentative until deposit is received.
  3. If deposit is not paid within the stated timeframe, Allure reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice.

1.4. Pricing, Estimates & Taxes

  1. Prices displayed on our website or marketing materials are base prices. For on-location bookings final pricing may include travel, setup, equipment, lodging and other surcharges.
  2. Any estimate provided earlier is indicative until finalised and invoiced. Final invoice will reflect actual services, extra time, surcharges and applicable taxes (GST).
  3. All quoted prices are in INR. GST will be charged where applicable and shown on invoices.

1.5. Payment Methods & Security

  1. Accepted payment methods: UPI, debit/credit cards, netbanking, payment gateways (Razorpay/Stripe/others), cash (in-studio). For on-location bookings we accept bank transfers and payment gateways.
  2. We do not store debit/credit card details on our servers. Card transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways.
  3. Payment is required as per invoice schedule: deposit (as above), balance either before the event, on the day or per agreed arrangement. Non-payment may result in service cancellation.

1.6. Cancellations, Reschedules & No-shows

Studio Appointments (Non-Event):

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the appointment without penalty.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours: deposit or 50% of the service price (whichever is lower) is non-refundable.
  • No-show: full service charge payable.

On-Location Bookings (Weddings, Events, Film):

  • Cancellation 30+ days before event: deposit refundable less 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 7–30 days before event: deposit non-refundable; balance refund subject to management discretion.
  • Cancellation within 7 days: no refund of deposit; Allure may retain full deposit.
  • Reschedules: permitted once at no additional charge if requested 30+ days prior; later reschedules may attract fees and depend on staff availability.

Late Arrival / Client Delay:
A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed. Beyond this, we may shorten the service or treat as a no-show. Extra charges may apply.

Closing / Emergency Cancellations by Allure:
If Allure must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (staff illness, equipment failure), we will reschedule or refund the deposit in full.

1.7. On-Location / Event Specific Terms

  1. Access & Facilities: Client/organiser must provide a clean, private, well-lit space with electricity (minimum 2 x 5A/16A outlets).
  2. Parking & Security: Client must ensure accessible parking and provide necessary passes. Any charges are to be borne by the client.
  3. Travel & Accommodation: Travel fees and outstation accommodation are charged extra.
  4. Setup Time: A setup fee applies (flat fee or time-based) and is included in estimates.
  5. Waiting Time & Overtime: Extra charges apply for waiting and overtime, billed at per-artist per-30 minutes.
  6. Third-party Vendors: Allure is not liable for third-party vendor actions (e.g., photographers, coordinators).

1.8. Patch Tests & Medical Disclosures

  1. For chemical or skin-sensitive services (hair colour, keratin, Botox, chemical peels, certain facials), a patch test is mandatory at least 48 hours prior.
  2. Clients must disclose allergies, medications, pregnancy, skin conditions, or relevant medical history. Failure to disclose releases Allure from liability.

1.9. Photo / Media Release

  1. Clients may be photographed for before/after records. Marketing use requires explicit consent via our Photo Release Form.
  2. If consented, Allure may use images/videos across social media, website, print and marketing. Clients may opt out at the time of service.

1.10. Products & Retail

  • Retail products are new, professionally sourced and covered by manufacturer warranty where applicable.
  • Opened or used products are not refundable due to hygiene reasons.

1.11. Health & Hygiene

  1. Allure follows strict hygiene and sterilisation protocols, including single-use disposables.
  2. Clients must follow pre-service instructions and report discomfort. Infections may lead to immediate service termination.

1.12. Minors

Clients under 18 require parent/guardian consent. For bridal/event services, guardians must sign consent and accept responsibility.

1.13. Liability & Indemnity

  1. Allure takes reasonable care but clients accept inherent risks (allergic reactions, irritation, unexpected results).
  2. Liability is limited to the value of the service (refund or redo at Allure’s discretion).
  3. Clients indemnify Allure against claims arising from undisclosed medical history or negligence.

1.14. Memberships, Gift Vouchers & Promotions

  1. Memberships are non-transferable (unless stated in writing) and non-refundable.
  2. Gift vouchers are valid only for the specified period, non-transferable, and non-refundable.

1.15. Complaints & Incident Reporting

  1. Report adverse reactions or complaints immediately to salon staff. Allure will document and respond appropriately.
  2. Formal complaints can be sent via email to email@alluremakeupstudio.com with booking reference. Response time: 48 business hours.

1.16. Intellectual Property & Image Use

Allure’s names, logos and images are protected. Clients consent to image use unless they opt out via Photo Release.

1.17. Force Majeure

Allure is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters, pandemics). We will notify and attempt rescheduling.

1.18. Amendment & Governing Law

Allure may update these Terms. The version available on the website at the time of service applies. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand (replace with desired jurisdiction).
